The internet has been ablaze with an information wildfire as people rush to find out about what is becoming known as the Ring of Fire Earthquake Prediction for the West and Pacific Northwest Coasts of the United States. Former United States Geological Survey Scientist Jim Berkland has made predictions based on observations of the recent fish kill and shifts in the magnetic field of the earth in this region. Nervous residents on the West Coast are educating themselves more on being prepared for disaster and things such as large-scale earthqaukes and tsunami. There have been predictions about large earthquakes on the US west coast for years but Berkland accurately predicted what is now referred to as the San Francisco Bay Area's 'World Series Earthquake'. We shall see as the future unfolds and the window originally established by the prediction by Berkland is more than halfway over.
